The Albemarle County Office Building is a wonderful example how historic preservation can benefit a community.

Built as Lane High School in 1940, it was converted to its current use in 1981.

It stands as an example of a time when communities took pride in building magnificent public buildings.

Our community is blessed that we were able to repurpose it.
